Re imagining the select service hotel experience through a warm coastal modern lens, the design for this Fairfield Inn & Suites is rooted in regional context, and nature inspired materials, creating a boutique-quality environment that feels authentic to the Outer Banks.
Design services included conceptual development, programming, finish and material selection, lighting design, custom millwork and furniture concepts, FF&E specifications, and artwork curation. Public spaces and guestrooms were thoughtfully composed to move beyond typical prototypical standards, layering natural textures, warm wood tones, soft neutral palettes, and abstract coastal references to establish a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
The resulting interiors balance approachability, durability, and operational efficiency with elevated residential comfort, achieving a place specific design that enhances guest experience while remaining aligned with Fairfield Inn brand expectations.
